Jameela Elfaki is a British (English and Sudanese) Photographer, Creative Director and Director based in London.

Elfaki is a creative artist who's work transcends categories and multiple mediums. Working across  Photography, Creative Direction, Filmmaking and Sound (DJing).

Jameela's practices are often focused around identity, representation and the visibility of Women and Non-binary folk of colour. Her work is inspired by her own dual heritage, and exploring themes of the 'in-between' and the nature of different cultures/beliefs coming together. Jameela has a strong love of design, music and fashion often finding herself in front of the camera as well as behind.

Since graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2017, Jameela has shot for the likes of THE FACE, PORTER, ELLE, GQ Magazine, Wonderland and more. Jameela has Directed for Adidas, ON and co-directed a beautiful film on the different rituals of Eid and Ramadan for Pinterest.

Jameela is the Founder, Editor in Chief and Creative Director of independent print magazine, platform and creative agency AZEEMA founded in 2017 and was subsequently nominated for The DAZED 100 - 2021.  Elfaki is also a recipient of a PPA 30 under 30 New talent Award - 2019 and A participant of the Black Business Incubator at Somerset House 2022. 

Photographic Clients include: COACH, ON, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Clarks, Converse,  Sole DXB, The Times, British Fashion Council. Elfaki has also worked with the likes of  META, DAZED, SHOWSTUDIO, The V&A, The SOUTHBANK CENTRE, & The TATE.

Jameela's international DJ clients include, Sole DXB,  Axel Arigato, TATE Modern, Night Tales, Southbank Centre and Soho House, Faemily & more.
